There are not many instances where academia merges with business; yet in this new normal, post Covid era, educators are required to be entrepreneurial in their approach to teaching, administration, content development, and student engagement.
To discuss this paradigm shift, Youth Startup Network talks to Ms Prema Mishra, an educator, administrator, and now an entrepreneur; about various facets of teaching pedagogy, entrepreneurial mindset, and growing in the new normal.
Prema is a motivating force with 25+ years of experience in the education domain. A risk-taker and an experimenter she encourages dialogue and positive learning, along with team effort. She is actively involved in Curriculum Development, Media Management, and Office Administration. Furthermore, Prema was one of nine people chosen by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India to be part of an expert panel for curriculum framework development on Physical Education and Sports. And currently runs her consultancy firm by the name of UCatapult. Her work experience includes working as Chief Operating Officer, Rainbow International School, and Head-Middle School, GD Goenka Public School, and Dean Hostel Admin & Sports, Genesis Global School.
